Since july 2010, the Ministery of Economics and Technology funds Endosmart for the development of hingeless deflectable probes. The extreme elasticity of Nitinol allows to develop a new generation of endoluminal instruments for flexible endoscopes. The risk of harming tissue is minimal.
Endosmart GmbH receives innovation vouchers
June 2010: The ministry of economy of Baden-Württemberg allocated innovation vouchers to Endosmart for the development of a specific devices and implants in spine therapy.
CE 0483 - mark for Nitinol Retrieval Baskets
Starting from August 2009, the Endosmart Nitinol retrieval baskets hold CE 0483 mark. The products are conform with the directive 93/42 EEC Medical Devices Class 2a. Ten employees have recently been hired to meet rising demand. The production line has been restructured on Kaizen principles. Customer are benefiting from the cost-effective workflow.
