Grinding of micro-structures
A precise grinding process enables us to grind extreme finde structures into superelastic and martensitic Nitinol wires and tubes.
One of the most common grinded applications are dental root canal files. Because of the superelastic properties the files can follow even extremely curved canals.
Grinded superelastic needles and canulas can be introduced through small working channels of endoscopes and trocars.

Micro Patterning
We offer precise cutting, drilling and laser welding.
The lateral structural accuracy presently attainable with the Nd:YAG laser goes down to 12 µm. The structure depth extends into the mm range. With wire cut EDM there is no limit to the thickness of the material.
The functional properties of Nitinol (thermal shape memory and superelasticity) are not influenced by laser or EDM treatment.
A modern CAD/CAM system allows the direct cutting of your structure according to a digital master file (dxf, dwg format preferred) with an appropriate quality.
